Vivo today confirmed that it will officially launch its upcoming foldable smartphone Vivo X Fold+ in the home market on September 26 at 7 PM local time. Besides, a marketing poster of the said model has also been shared online. From what is known, this X-series foldable phone will come with a quad rear camera setup with LED flash and at least two color variants. Besides, an alert slider is also present on the left edge of this handset in the poster.

Vivo today revealed the official launch date of its upcoming foldable smartphone Vivo X Fold+ via Chinese microblogging website Weibo. As per the announcement, the phone will debut in China on September 26 at 7pm local time (4.30pm IST). Along with the launch date, the company also shared a marketing poster of their latest foldable handset. Wherein – The rear panel of the phone features four Zeiss branding cameras with LED flash light on the camera module. At the same time, we also see an alert slider present on the left edge of the device when unfolded. Also, according to this newly published poster, it seems that the phone will come in Blue and Red color options.
Incidentally, a company executive recently teased the Vivo X Fold+ smartphone online. Whereas, it was mentioned that both the cover and folding display of the upcoming Vivo device will support 120Hz refresh rate and will be TUV Rheinland certified. Again it can be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor to provide better performance. As a security feature, it will have an ultra-sonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. And it was also teased that the handset in question will come with 5G connectivity. Incidentally, the hinge of the Vivo X Fold+ is said to have passed the folding test by being folded 3,00,000 times.
Moreover, the upcoming Vivo X Fold+ was recently spotted on benchmarking website AnTuTu listed with the model number V2229A. Here, the phone scores 11,00,438 in overall performance, 2,60,666 in CPU performance and 4,70,982 in GPU performance. The benchmarking site's listing also mentions that this model will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Besides, it will have 12 GB RAM and 512 GB ROM as storage. And the phone can be powered by Android 12 OS.
Apart from AnTuTu, this upcoming foldable smartphone from Vivo has also appeared in the TENAA certification database. On the aforementioned certification site, the handset is listed with a 4,600 mAh capacity dual-cell battery and FunTouch OS 12 custom skin. Besides, the Vivo X Fold+ is also said to support multiple 5G bands.
