Xiaomi 14 series, 14 lakh smartphones sold in 11 days

Xiaomi 14 smartphone series debuted in the Chinese market on October 26. And on October 31, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro models of the lineup are available for the first time. After which the company announced that every unit of the Xiaomi 14 series was sold out within 4 hours of the first sale. After all, the 'Pro' model of the series also holds the title of being the best-selling Android phone in China. 

Again today, a latest report by Wall Street Insights claims that the brand managed by Lei Jun sold a total of 14.474 lakhs (1.474 lakhs) of the Xiaomi 14 series in just 11 days from October 31st to November 10th. 4474 million) units sold

The standard Xiaomi 14 has been launched in China in a total of four storage configurations. Below is the price of each variant –

8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – 3,999 yuan (approx. Tk 45,500),

12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – 4,299 yuan (approx. 48, 900),

16GB RAM + 512GB storage – 4,599 Yuan (approx. Rs. 52,300),

Top-end 16GB RAM + 1 TB Storage – 4,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 56,900).

The Xiaomi 14 Pro model is also available with four storage options. Their selling price is given below –

12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – 4,999 yuan (approx. Rs. 56,900),

16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – 5,499 yuan (approx. 62, 600 Tk),

16 GB RAM + 512 GB Storage – 5,999 Yuan (approx. Tk 68,700),

16 GB RAM + 1 TB Storage – 6,499 Yuan (about Rs. 74,300).

Incidentally, the Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Special Edition model is available in China at a price of 6,499 Yuan. It comes with 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.

The compact design of the Xiaomi 14 phone features a 6.36-inch Huaxing C8 AMOLED display, which is a joint venture between Xiaomi and TCL. This display – 1.5K resolution, 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, supports HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision technology. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It comes with 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 8 storage. This phone is powered by Android 14 based HyperOS custom skin. For power backup, the Xiaomi 14 model has a 4,610mAh capacity battery with 90W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging support. Also talking about the camera department, in terms of photography, the Xiaomi 14 smartphone has a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup. These cameras are – 50-megapixel Hunter 900 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 50-megapixel telephoto unit. There is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

Xiaomi 14 Pro comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protected 6.7-inch OLED 12-bit curved-edge screen, which supports 2K resolution, 3,000 nits peak brightness and 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor is used in the said model. It will have 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The new HyperOS (HyperOS) based on Android 14 as the operating system is pre-loaded with custom skin. The flagship features a Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup for photography and videography. These are – the device features a 50-megapixel Hunter 900 primary sensor with a 23mm focal length, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 14mm focal length, and a 50-megapixel telephoto unit with a 75mm focal length. The handset has a 32-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. For power backup, the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone has a 4,880mAh capacity battery with support for 120W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. It also has an in-screen fingerprint scanner as a security feature.
