Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro are the first to buy today, Stylish design with great features

Realme P1 series debuted in India on April 15. A total of two devices have come under this lineup namely – Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro. As promised today i.e. April 22nd both the devices were made available for sale in the country for the first time through the company's website (realme.com) and e-commerce platform Flipkart. All in all, as part of the launch offer, buyers can pocket the handset of their choice by saving up to Rs 2,000. The Realme P1 phone is available in two storage configurations. Out of which the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs 15,999. And the higher 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is priced at Tk 18,999. On the other hand, the top-end Realme P1 Pro model starts at Rs 21,999. This price is for its 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It can also be bought with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, priced at Rs 22,999. The standard model of the series – comes in Peacock Green and Phoenix Red colours. And the 'Pro' model – can be chosen in Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue color options.

Aspirants can purchase both phones from the company's website (realme.com) and online shopping portal Flipkart from today. In this regard, the sale of the special edition named Realme P1 Pro 5G Red Limited will be live today from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Now let's talk about the launch offer. Buyers will get a flat Rs 1,000 discount on the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Realme P1 5G smartphone. An instant discount of flat Rs 2,000 is being offered with the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. Again, a bank card discount of Rs 2,000 is available with both the storage options of the Realme P1 5G phone. To get this discount you have to pay through ICICI or SBI Bank Credit or David Card.

Realme P1 series has been launched with an ultra slim body and a bright design pattern that shines in the sunlight. Both phones come with micro-crystal sparrow feature texture and large round 3D LDI texture design. The standard model of the series, the Realme P1, is 7.91 mm thick, weighs 188 grams and is IP54 rated for water and dust resistance. On the other hand, the higher-end Realme P1 Pro phone is 8.35 mm thin and weighs 184 grams. It offers IP65 rated body chassis.

The Realme P1 phone features a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display, which supports 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% P3 color gamut, 240 Hz touch sampling rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness. On the other hand, the Realme P1 Pro model comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus curved AMOLED touchscreen, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, and brightness of 950 nits peak. The standard model of the series uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor to deliver good performance, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. On the other hand, the 'Pro' variant has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It offers the same storage configuration as the standard model. Both the phones run on the latest Android 14 based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin and additionally support up to 8GB virtual RAM feature.

For photography and videography, the Realme P1 phone has a dual rear camera setup with – 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 primary sensor + 2-megapixel B&W sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is visible above the display. On the other hand, the Realme P1 Pro phone also has a dual rear camera unit, but with a different resolution. Namely – 50 megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS support + 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, there will be a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Talking about other features, the series devices will get an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and a hi-res dual speaker system for enhanced sound delivery. Again, the vapor chamber heat dissipation system and 3D VC cooling system are present to ensure that the devices do not overheat. Besides, the Realme P1 and Realme P1 Pro smartphones have a powerful 5,000mAh capacity battery, which supports 45W wired fast charging.
