Samsung today announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on January 22. Every year, the company's flagship Galaxy S lineup is launched with three models at once. As a result, the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to be launched this year as well. But this time, there is speculation about a fourth model in this series. A new phone called the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim may be launched in the market.

Is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim being launched as the fourth model in the series?

Speculation about the Galaxy S25 Slim has been fueled by a teaser released by Samsung, which shows the corners of four phones. As a result, it is expected that there will be four models in the S25 series. Several previous reports had claimed that the smartphone will be launched in the second quarter of 2025, i.e. between April and June. It remains to be seen whether the price will be announced at the Unpacked event or just unveiled.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim specifications (possible)

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim variant is said to feature a 6.66-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. The phone will be 6.x mm thin, hence the name Slim. This is even thinner than the current Galaxy S24 (7.6 mm). Like the rest of the models in this series, the new Slim phone is also expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor across all regions.

Despite being slim, the phone is said to have a battery capacity of between 4,700 and 5,000mAh. This is much larger than the Galaxy S24, which offers a 4,000mAh battery cell. The camera is one of the highlights of the Galaxy S25 Slim. It could feature a 200MP HP5 primary sensor, a 50MP JN5 3.5x telephoto lens, and a 50MP JN5 ultra-wide-angle lens.
